When & Where

Our groups in Bristol is for people wishing to seek support with social anxiety. This page contains basic information about where and when this group happens and what might be expected of you. More detailed information is available in the Session Information, Session Schedule and Joining sections of this website.

What is the group?

The group is a safe space where you can come to meet other people who experience social anxiety. We provide different types of group session to help you feel supported and understood, increase your confidence and improve your quality of life. The group sessions are facilitated and the facilitator's role is to take you through the set session structure, welcome new members and make sure our basic rules are kept to. Please note that they are not there to give advice, act as a therapist or tell people what they need to do. However, they will provide you with some information to help you move your life forward, strive to create an environment that enables your personal development, and provide opportunities for you to take steps to build up your confidence.

Please note that we hire our venues from third party organisations and we are not affiliated with them.

  • There is no obligation or pressure to share personal issues or information. You do not have to share anything if you do not want to.
  • Remember that we are all there for the same reason - because we experience social anxiety or have experienced social anxiety in the past to a degree where we felt it necessary to seek help and support.
